How to get the most out of these TH8 layouts

• Keep your Town Hall protected. At TH8, use strong compartments around your Town Hall and place key defenses nearby to make it harder for attackers to reach the center of your base.
• Defend against air attacks. Dragons and other air strategies remain popular at TH8. Spread your Air Defenses across the base and use your Air Sweepers to control the direction of incoming air troops.
• Put your Archer Queen to work. TH8 unlocks your second Hero, the Archer Queen. Place her near your core defenses so she can snipe attackers from range while staying protected.
• Protect your Dark Elixir. Dark Elixir becomes increasingly important at TH8. Keep your Dark Elixir Storage deep inside the base and surround it with strong defensive coverage.
• Use your Hidden Teslas wisely. Hidden Teslas can surprise attackers and provide extra defensive damage. Place them in different compartments rather than grouping them all together.
• Make good use of your Giant Bombs and Skeleton Traps. Giant Bombs punish grouped ground troops, while the new Skeleton Trap is great for distracting Heroes and high-damage troops like the P.E.K.K.A. Place both along likely attack paths or near key defenses.
• Protect your Clan Castle. Keep your Clan Castle near the core of your layout so defending troops are harder for attackers to lure and eliminate.
• Build a balanced layout. A good TH8 base should protect your Town Hall, Dark Elixir, resources, and defensive buildings while using your 225 available wall pieces to create multiple strong compartments.
• Improve your base after every attack. Watch your defense replays to identify weak points, then adjust your walls, traps, and defenses to make your TH8 layout stronger.
